The rowboat is a simple, open design, molded in brown plastic to resemble wood, with visible plank detailing on the exterior. It has a pointed bow and a slightly squared stern. Inside, there are studs for placing minifigures and oarlock-like indentations on the gunwales.
Two black oars are included. One oar is placed inside the boat, resting across the thwarts, while the other is lying next to the boat. Each oar has a long shaft and a flat, spade-shaped blade.
