Introduction
These are four collectible toy minifigures designed to represent German soldiers from the World War II era. They are all depicted wearing the “Pea Dot” camouflage pattern (historically known as Erbsenmuster), which was a pattern used by German forces, particularly the Waffen-SS, in the later years of the war. Each figure is equipped with a different, historically significant weapon.
The first figure, labeled N621 Pea Dot 98K, is a soldier armed with a 98K. This refers to the Karabiner 98k, which was the standard bolt-action service rifle issued to most German soldiers throughout World War II. It was known for its accuracy and reliability.
The second figure, N622 Pea Dot MG34, represents a machine gunner. He is holding an MG34, or Maschinengewehr 34. This was a highly effective and influential general-purpose machine gun used extensively by German forces. The figure is also shown with ammunition belts draped over his shoulders, which was common for a machine gunner or his assistant.
The third figure is N623 Pea Dot MP40. This soldier is equipped with an MP40 (Maschinenpistole 40). This is one of the most iconic submachine guns of the war, often used by squad leaders, paratroopers, and armored vehicle crews due to its compact size and automatic fire.
The fourth figure, N624 Pea Dot STG44, is carrying an StG 44 (Sturmgewehr 44). This weapon is widely considered the world’s first successful assault rifle. It was a revolutionary design introduced late in the war that combined the firepower of a submachine gun with the range and accuracy of a rifle.
