This is a custom clothing accessory for a toy minifigure, representing a fully equipped Soviet Red Army Infantry Rifleman’s “Shinel” Greatcoat from the World War II era.
The accessory is designed as a single piece that depicts both the iconic Shinel greatcoat and the soldier’s standard field equipment. The coat itself has the characteristic brownish-grey color and features crimson red collar tabs (petlitsy), which designates the wearer as a member of the Infantry. Over the top of the coat, a full set of printed gear is shown. On the front, there are shoulder straps and a belt holding a light green canvas bread bag, known as a meshok, which was used to carry rations and personal items. The back of the garment shows the rest of the soldier’s loadout, including a small rucksack and a canteen hanging from the belt. This complete set of equipment represents the typical appearance of a frontline Soviet rifleman on the march or in the field, carrying all the necessities for combat and survival.
