This is a custom-made headwear accessory for a toy minifigure, representing an Italian Royal Navy (Regia Marina) M33 combat helmet from the World War II era.

The accessory accurately captures the simple, rounded shape of the M33 helmet, which was the standard-issue steel helmet for all branches of the Italian military during WWII. The helmet is colored a very dark navy blue or black, which was appropriate for the navy.
