The accessory accurately replicates the iconic design of the original German fuel can, officially known as the Wehrmacht-Einheitskanister. Its most notable feature is its sand yellow or desert tan color. This was the standard camouflage color for vehicles and equipment used by the German Deutsches Afrikakorps (DAK), which fought under Field Marshal Rommel in the deserts of North Africa.

The can features the famous three-handle design, recessed reinforcing ribs, and is printed with the German words “Kraftstoff 20L,” which translates to “Fuel 20 Liters.” The white cross marking, while typically used to designate cans for water, is also present.
