Custom Piece Miniature – German Imperial Army General’s Greatcoat – 3D Print for LEGO Minifigure

This is a custom clothing accessory for a toy minifigure, representing a German Imperial Army General’s Greatcoat from the World War I era.

This officer’s greatcoat, or Mantel, is shown in the characteristic field grey (Feldgrau) color of the German military of that period. The key features that identify the wearer as a high-ranking general are the details on the collar and lapels. The coat has a dark green collar, but more importantly, it features large, bright red lapels. In the German Imperial Army, these distinctive red facings were reserved exclusively for officers of General rank. The garment is double-breasted and is worn with a standard brown leather officer’s service belt with a gold buckle. This uniform would have been worn by the highest-level commanders of the German army during the trench warfare of World War I (1914-1918).
