This is a custom clothing accessory for a toy minifigure, representing a German Imperial Army M1910 Tunic (Waffenrock) from the early period of World War I.
This accessory is designed to replicate the upper uniform worn by German infantry at the outbreak of the war in 1914. The tunic is a field grey (Feldgrau) color and features a high, standing collar. The most distinctive details are the bright red piping running along the front button line and around the collar. This red coloring was the standard branch color for the line infantry of Prussia and most other German states. The tunic is single-breasted with a printed row of gold buttons and is worn with a printed black leather belt and buckle. On the back, a brown leather bread bag (Brotbeutel) is shown attached to the belt. This uniform, famously worn with the Pickelhaube spiked helmet, is iconic of the initial campaigns of WWI but was later simplified to remove the colorful and conspicuous piping for better camouflage in the trenches.
