Minifigure – six Soviet Naval Infantry Black Death from the World War II era (LEGO Compatible)

This image displays a squad of six different custom building block minifigures, all representing various members of the Soviet Naval Infantry during World War II. These sailors-turned-soldiers were famously nicknamed the “Black Death.”

The soldier in the top left is a rifleman from the Black Sea Fleet, wearing a blue naval shirt and beskozyrka (sailor’s cap) and armed with a Mosin-Nagant rifle. The soldier in the top center is also from the Black Sea Fleet, wearing a black tunic and carrying a PPSh-41 submachine gun. The soldier in the top right is a “shock trooper” with machine gun ammunition belts draped over his chest, wearing a steel SSh-40 helmet and carrying a Mosin-Nagant rifle.

The soldier in the bottom left is in field gear, wearing a blue shirt with khaki trousers, an SSh-40 helmet, and is armed with a PPS-43 submachine gun. The soldier in the bottom center is another member of the Black Sea Fleet armed with a PPSh-41 that has its iconic drum magazine. The figure in the bottom right is a Soviet Naval Infantry Commander, distinguished by his blue officer’s tunic and officer’s visor cap, and armed with a Tokarev TT-33 pistol. All the enlisted figures prominently display the iconic blue and white striped telnyashka undershirt.
