Introduction
This image shows two toy minifigures representing two distinct German figures from the World War II era, both dressed in formal white summer uniforms. The image labels the pair with the title Reichsführer-SS, although this title historically belonged to only one person (Heinrich Himmler).
The figure on the left is labeled as an SS Second Lieutenant M32 Summer White Uniform.
Rank and Role: He represents a junior officer in the SS, with the specific rank of Untersturmführer (Second Lieutenant).
Uniform: He wears a white, double-breasted M32 model tunic with a black shirt and tie. His black visor cap is decorated with the specific SS eagle and death’s head (Totenkopf) insignia. The tunic itself features printed SS collar tabs for rank, an SS sleeve eagle, and a medal on the breast pocket.
Trousers: The uniform is completed with black trousers and boots.
The figure on the right is labeled “Hilem Summer White Uniform” and is a representation of Adolf Hitler.
Identity: His identity is clear from the signature toothbrush mustache and round spectacles. “Hilem” is a common alteration of “Hitler” used by toy makers.
Uniform and Decorations: He wears a white formal tunic with a black shirt and tie. On his left breast are his signature decorations: the Iron Cross 1st Class and the Golden Party Badge. A silver ceremonial cord, an aiguillette, is draped over his right shoulder. A key part of his uniform, visible in other views, is the red Nazi Party armband with a swastika.
Headwear and Trousers: He wears a black visor cap with the national eagle insignia, along with black trousers and a belt.
