Minifigure – Arab Volunteer who served with the German Army during World War II (LEGO Compatible)

This image shows a custom building block minifigure representing an Arab Volunteer who served with the German Army during World War II. These soldiers were part of the Free Arabian Legion (Legion Freies Arabien).

The character is wearing the standard tan tropical uniform of the German Afrikakorps. He is equipped with a black leather Y-strap suspension harness, a belt, and ammunition pouches. On his right sleeve is the distinctive arm shield of the Free Arabian Legion, which features the colors of the Arab Revolt and the text “Freies Arabien.” He is wearing a tan-colored Stahlhelm (steel helmet) which has the German national shield and the Wehrmacht eagle decals on the sides. The figure is armed with a replica of a Karabiner 98k (Kar98k) rifle. The image also shows a separate accessory piece: a printed tile representing the Ostvolk Medal (Tapferkeits- und Verdienstauszeichnung für Angehörige der Ostvölker), which was awarded to foreign volunteers from the East.
