Introduction
This image displays a pair of custom building block minifigures representing opposing soldiers from the American Civil War: a Confederate soldier on the left and a Union soldier on the right.
The Confederate soldier is wearing a grey shell jacket with light blue facings and a matching grey kepi-style cap. His belt buckle is marked with the letters “CS” for Confederate States. He is armed with a rifle-musket and is also holding a Bowie knife.
The Union soldier is wearing a dark blue sack coat and a blue kepi-style cap with the number 14 on the front, representing the 14th regiment of his state. His belt buckle is marked with the letters “US” for United States. He is also armed with a rifle-musket and is carrying a large knife. Both figures are equipped with leather slings and gear appropriate for infantrymen of the period.
