This image shows a custom building block minifigure representing a German soldier from World War II. The figure is highly detailed to portray a soldier from the mid-to-late war period.
The character’s uniform is printed with Splittertarnmuster, also known as splinter pattern camouflage. This was a common German camo design featuring a disruptive pattern of green and brown geometric shapes on a tan background, with thin green “rain” dashes printed over it. The detailed printing on the torso, visible from both the front and the back in the small inset picture, shows ammunition pouches, straps for equipment, and the collar of the uniform smock.
The soldier is wearing a characteristic German Stahlhelm (steel helmet). The helmet itself has a printed hexagonal design on it, which represents the wire mesh or “chicken wire” that soldiers would often fit over their helmets to attach leaves, branches, and other foliage for better concealment.
The weapon the figure is holding is a very accurate miniature replica of a Sturmgewehr 44, or StG 44. This was a revolutionary German assault rifle and is considered by many to be the first of its kind. The toy version accurately captures its distinct shape, including the curved magazine, wooden stock, and front sight. The line on the right indicates the figure’s height is 4cm.
